Direct Material Buyer (H/F)

Job Description

  • In charge of the Commodities for all MoldTecs plants.
  • Support of production and R&D through appropriate purchasing service for direct material
  • Interaction with departments to ensure continuous service and support of ongoing projects (Strategy)
  • Development of market and decision-making analyses to evaluate and optimize the supplier portfolio
  • Identify and evaluate requirements and needs, create orders and contracts
  • Support with invoice verification in case of discrepancies
  • Independent execution of price and contract negotiations
  • Collect and track supplier related cost reduction
  • Develop and implement long term commodity strategy
  • Identification, and implementation of cost optimization potentials during serial production phase

    • resourcing/insourcing activities

Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum of working experience in Automotive Industry in similar position
  • Knowledge of ERP system SAP and Pack Office
  • Technical Knowledge in Plastic Parts and Rubber Parts are beneficial
  • Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
  • Fluent in English language; German language are beneficial
  • Willingness to travel; valid driving license
