Passive intake manifolds: great performance in a small space.

Passive intake manifolds have always been part of MoldTec’s manufacturing expertise. Our passive intake manifold in the so-called “one-piece” design illustrates the high level at which we can operate today with our injection molding equipment. The high level of innovation in this model is demonstrated above all by the fact that the plenum and channels are injected in a single piece and the slide and rotation cores are then demolded. The high burst pressures inside the vehicle are met by an infrared-welded cover. As a result, passive intake manifolds leave our test bench that are small and extremely compactly manufactured and have no circumferential weld lines. Rely on MoldTecs and thus on manufacturing competence for individual passive intake manifolds.
