Air intake manifolds – turbocharger passive
Air intake manifolds – Passive turbochargers: Power without a gearshift.
Passive turbochargers may lack a switchgear, but they still generate pressure – with the help of the existing exhaust gases. To ensure that turbochargers can perform reliably, they undergo a manufacturing process at MoldTecs that enables their complex technical structure. After injection molding, the components are welded. The process used depends on the polymers used. At MoldTecs, we are proficient in all established welding processes and use the corresponding state-of-the-art technologies. After the individual parts have been joined, they are assembled on up to six automated stations, depending on their type. Our integrated quality assurance and various test rigs ensure that the turbocharger safely performs what it was designed for – reliably bringing air into the combustion chamber.
